Abbey Cleland was born on October 16th, 1984 in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Now, she splits her time between LA and the Midwest, writing fiction, TV, and film. So far, she's found this arrangement results in great fun, and wild, irrepressible productivity.Since studying creative writing at The Ohio State University and The New School, she's optioned several original romantic comedies while writing, developing, and consulting for a variety of LA-based production companies and networks.In 2013, she got married. In 2014, she earned an MFA in Fiction from Fairfield University.Her first novel is currently being considered for publication.
