Abby Martin is an American journalist. She grew up in Pleasanton, California, and attended San Diego State University, where she graduated with a degree in political science. In 2010, Martin moved to Washington, D.C., and became a correspondent for RT America. In 2012, she began hosting her own show, Breaking the Set (2013). She co-directed the 2013 film 99%: The Occupy Wall Street Collaborative Film (2013).
