Abigail Pesta is an award-winning journalist and author who has lived and worked around the world, from New York to London to Hong Kong. She writes features and investigative reports for global publications including Cosmopolitan, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Atlantic, Marie Claire, Newsweek, Harper's Bazaar and many others. She is the coauthor with Sandra Uwiringiyimana of the book How Dare the Sun Rise (HarperCollins, May 2017). She serves as an officer on the board of the Overseas Press Club of America.
