Achraf Koutet joined the most prestigious theatre ensemble in The Netherlands, the International Theatre Amsterdam (ITA), led by critically acclaimed director Ivo van Hove, at the young age of 22. Achraf has performed inThe Wood (directed by Michiel van Erp), The Cherry Orchard (directed by Simon McBurney) and Death in Venice (directed by Ivo van Hove). In 2021 he plays Romeo in Romeo & Juliet (directed by Michiel van Erp) and he will be seen in Age of Rage (director by Ivo van Hove).Achraf was featured in the popular youth series Land van Lubbers. He had supporting roles in the series Jeuk and Flikken Maastricht, but audiences know him for his role in the highly popular series about the Amsterdam drug war, Mocro Maffia. Besides his work on stage and television, Achraf was also featured in the films De Kuthoer (opposite Katja Herbers), Instinct (directed by Halina Reijn) and Alles van Waarde, which will be released in 2021.
