Adrian Powers is an Australian film director and editor. A graduate of the International Film School Sydney (now the Academy of Film Theatre & Television), several of Adrian's films have screened & won accolades at film festivals across the globe. In 2012, his short film 'Scruples' screened at the 69th Venice International Film Festival as part of a special collaboration between YouTube and Sir Ridley Scott ('Gladiator', 'The Martian'), during which Scott commented that Adrian and his fellow finalists were "all clearly talents for the industry to watch".In 2013, Adrian completed work as co-director and editor on the WWI feature 'Forbidden Ground', which was released worldwide (including distribution in the US through Lionsgate Entertainment). He has worked as editor on the feature films 'Skin Deep' (officially selected for the 2014 Austin Film Festival), 'Embedded' (officially selected for the 2016 Sydney Film Festival), 'Spirit of the Game' (shortlisted for the 2016 AACTA Awards) and 'Zelos' an upcoming romantic drama. He has also edited the first three episodes of the fifth season of internationally acclaimed web-series 'Starting From Now'. In the realms of TV and Web content, Adrian has worked on a broad variety of projects, ranging from short films and documentaries to corporate videos and music videos. He is currently developing his debut feature as solo director.
