Known for her fierce determination and brazenly unapologetic heart, AJ is a Mestiza Canadian actor, writer, and filmmaker. With a diverse foundation in classical theatre and dance, AJ's passion for storytelling is infused with a layered complexity injecting a quality of vulnerable strength into every role she portrays. AJ has appeared onstage with The Factory Theatre, Young People's Theatre and Aluna theatre; as an emerging filmmaker AJ has written, produced and directed several short films which have screened at festivals including the ReelAsian Film Festival, Toronto Urban Film Festival and the Toronto Silent Film Festival; and she has worked both onscreen and off with the CFC, ABC and CBC.
