Aki graduated from UCLA Film school and freelanced for 3 years as a camera assistant, assistant art director, storyboard artist, gaffer and grip for various TV shows and films. He eventually became a Creative Director for Mattel Toys and made toy commercials for Barbie, Hot Wheels, Nickelodeon, Harry Potter, Batman and many others. He studied acting at UCLA, but it wasn't until he took improvisation classes that the acting bug got the better of him. He joined "April's Fools" improvisational troupe, graduated from the "Second City" Conservatory program, and performed with the L.A. Connection. He has starred and directed in several sketch shows. In addition to the IMDB credits he has done several commercials, industrial videos and print ads.
