Akil Jackson was born in Macon Georgia and lived in various states along the East Coast before settling in Brunswick, Georgia where he graduated from Glynn Academy High School. Akil received his education in Multimedia Communications and Drama from Georgia Southern University in 2015.In college, Akil had an award winning theatrical career and was recognized on multiple occasions by the KCACTF for his outstanding work on shows such as David Mamet's RACE and Katori Hall's The Mountaintop. His deep baritone voice is constantly compared to that of James Earl Jones.Akil began working in the film industry in Savannah, Georgia where he gained invaluable experience assisting in the production of multiple titles such as Emperor directed by Mark Amin, Disney's [Link=tt8096832] directed by Charlie Bean, and The Glorias (2020) directed by Julie Taymor and starring Julianne Moore. The Atlanta based actor is a rising star furthering his acting career every day.
