Akiz was born in Uganda where his family helps care for orphaned and vulnerable children. His Father is Ugandan and his mother is Canadian. Akiz is the second oldest of five boys in his family. Akiz and his family now reside in Canada where Akiz has started acting. He has started his career with a role in lifetimes The Christmas Pact and ABCs A Million Little Things.
