Alanna Blair specializes in the unexpected.You may have seen her screaming and bleeding profusely in Blue Bloods' Season 6 finale, but dig deeper and you'll find a snarky vegan killjoy (The Idiotmaker's Gravity Tour) a lost soul wandering the LA canals (Frogtown), a suspicious stoner (Forty or Something), and a mysterious stowaway (Precious Wheels Above). An ongoing collaboration with filmmaker Daniel Kremer spans five films (so far), each shot in a fluid, improv-focused style. On the stage, her solo adaptation of "The Waste Land" by TS Eliot took her to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and she co-devised the two-woman rooftop drama "Above Us" for the New York Fringe Festival.Alanna sports a BFA from CalArts, and hangs out at The Barrow Group. She also djs as Bulletproof Tiger, plays bass guitar, and fosters kittehs.
