America is in a very serious moral, political, sexual identity, social and economic decline. I'm just glad I won't be around when it snowballs into something much worse.

When I started studying acting in 1975, we all were so concerned about becoming good actors with training and doing plays. Nowadays with the young "Hip Hop" generation and the advent of reality TV, everyone thinks that acting is easy, so they say, "I can do that" and unfortunately casting directors enforce that notion by casting them in parts. The respect for the craft is gone with the young generations of today. There are just too many people doing it who aren't good, much less trained!

What separates a bad, good, or great actor is the choice in the way he plays the scene. And that usually comes from the actor observations and sensitivities he has in life.
