He was an actor and producer, known for 12 (2007), Skaz pro to, kak tsar Pyotr arapa zhenil (1976) and Le roi Lear (1970). He was married to Azima Abdumaminova, Galina Kozhukhova-Petrenko and Alla Petrenko. He died on February 22, 2017 in Moscow, Russia.
