Alex Alegria became interested in acting while putting together with his friends and sister a high school production of Clue based on the movie, where he played Mr. Green. Alex however did not pursue acting again until his junior year of college. After pursuing a disinterested career path in college, Alex rediscovered his interest for acting due to his prerequisites requiring him to take an acting class. Upon doing so he quickly took to the craft and has devoted himself to acting ever since.His first acting gig was on an episode of CSI where he played a minor antagonistic role, which led to more roles with characters of the same mischievous nature.
