Alex Dittmer is one of 8 siblings born to Richard and Ramona Dittmer. His family includes, Mario, Veronica, Monica, Ricardo, Tina (d. 1983), Ruben and Tony. His family always sang to records and performed skits growing up. Inspired by his brothers and sisters work in their High School shows, Alex was bitten with the acting bug at an early age. His first performance was that of a ringmaster in his Kindergarten Mother's Day Tea Party. He has since moved on to other venues including theatre performances though out the Midwest as well as many industrial and short indy films. He played a supporting role in the award winning short The Vacation and continues to work. He attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and received his Bachelors Degree and continued his education receiving his Masters of Fine Arts degree in Acting from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. In May of 2007, Alex moved to New York to set some roots there and to see what grows.
