Alex Garcia Lopez is a writer and director of BAFTA nominated TV shows. Born in Argentina but Los Angeles based, Alex began his career making short films in London, UK. He wrote and directed Happy Birthday Grandad (2008), winner of the BAFTA 60 Seconds of Fame, followed by Diego's Story (2009), which was the recipient of numerous awards and nominations. He directed Would Like to Meet (2010), Misfits (2012), the first season of the critically-acclaimed Utopia (2013) and the Netflix mini-series Residue (2015).
