Alex was born in Moscow, Russia. Since then, he's traveled all over the globe, lived in Switzerland, the UK, Germany, Thailand, and now the US. Alex graduated from Emerson College in Boston with a BA in Film & Media Arts. He studied journalism at the Northwestern University in Chicago, where he also spent five years working for the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, a global conglomerate. In Chicago, Alex got acquainted with the late Roger Ebert, who supported and inspired Alex in his career as a screenwriter and film critic. Alex has seen and reviewed over 3,000 international films. He is the author of a published book of short stories, and the winner of multiple awards for his feature screenplays. He resides in Los Angeles, CA, where he's in charge of domestic distribution of independent films at a Worldwide Film Distribution Company. In addition to being a photographer and musician, Alex has produced, written and directed a short zombie film, "Parched", which is being distributed internationally. He is developing a series for a TV network, and is in pre-production on a major motion picture.
