Alex Lyras is an award-winning playwright, screenwriter, actor, and producer known for Mona, Heterosexuals and The Common Air.His solo performance "Unequalibrium" was selected for "New Playwrights: Best Plays" and "Best Men's Monologues for the Twenty First Century." His most recent production, "The Common Air," linking six characters during an airport delay, was developed in Los Angeles, produced Off Broadway and won multiple awards."Mona", which he starred in and produced, won Best Picture at the Malibu Film Festival. "Heterosexuals", which he starred in and produced is available on Netflix. His screenplay ALVA was awarded a TriBeCa Film Institute Sloan grant. He is a member of the WGA.
