Ali MacLean is an award winning writer, performer, and comedian who hails from Boston.Ali studied at the La Jolla Playhouse Conservatory with Tony Award winner Des McAnuff and studied classical theater with Royal Shakespeare Company's Tony Church. Her short films have won awards and screened at many festivals, including Toronto, Palm Springs, Atlanta, Victoria, Maryland, New York's Gen Art series and have earned Ali a Best Actress nomination at the Method Festival.Ali's stage plays and screenplays have been optioned as well as selected as a Chesterfield Writer's Project semi-finalist, a Screencraft Competition semi-finalist, and an IFP Filmmakers Program finalist.Ali is an on air radio and podcast host and was a popular personality on the cult Los Angeles station Indie 103.1 FM, as well as Sirius, Little Radio, Vlaze TV and Music Plus TV and many online outlets.
