April Barnett hails from Houston, TX. She has worked with Cedric Yarbrough and Wendi McLendon-Covey in "Closing Escrow." Dutton's Richard III to favorable reviews.She also starred as "Tobi" in the well received film "Drylongso" which was featured in the American Spectrum category at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival. It also won the Grand Prize at the Pan African Film Festival.
