New York based actress, Bec Fordyce grew up in Sydney, Australia - where she showed a flair for the performing arts at a young age. At age 8, she was enrolled at the Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP). Bec studied there and took various workshops until she finished high school.Bec has studied acting at many of the nation's most prestigious institutions including the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA), The Actors' College of Theatre and Television, The Actor's Centre Australia, and was also a Creative Arts (Performance) major at the University of Wollongong.Bec studied with Sandra Lee Patterson (On Camera Connections) to prep her for the US Market after graduating. She continues to hone her craft by taking ongoing acting classes in NYC.Since moving to NY, Bec has appeared in a number of film, TV, print and commercial projects, including being cast as the host of a Caribbean travel series.Bec is an internationally published model and has appeared in publications including "Harpers' Bazaar", "Cosmopolitan", "Nylon" and "FHM".She also is a makeup artist and hair stylist. Her work has been reviewed and well received in the New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
