Born in Northern Ireland and studied drama in England. He made his acting debut in Bruises at the Royal Court Theater, London. He has worked extensively at the Royal National Theater, Royal Shakespeare Company, both on and off Broadway and London's West End.Onscreen he is best known for his portrayal of Thomas Andrews in the 12 part mini- series Titanic: Blood and Steel, opposite Derek Jacobi, screened in the US by Starz following a worldwide release.
