Bivas Biswas is a SAG-AFTRA Actor and a Filmmaker. He recently completed directing his latest feature film Atrophy (now available on Amazon). He was Co-Executive in charge of Production for Dirty Little Trick, an independent film starring Michael Madsen and Dean Cain. He has appeared in leading roles in independent feature films (such as The Elevator to Salvation and the Beautiful Destroyer), a HBO mini-documentary and a series for Discovery Science. He was one the top 3 contestant for Warner Bros' "The Bachelorette India".In 2008, Bivas was awarded the Arizona Filmmaker of the Year by the Phoenix Film Festival and named Best Local Filmmaker by the NewTimes Best of Phoenix magazine. Other acknowledgments include Best Director and Best Editor by IFP. He was awarded "The Most Promising Filmmaker" of 2005 at the International Horror & Sci-Fi Film Festival for his short film APT. 3157Besides being a filmmaker, Bivás has worked as a Computer Scientist at Honeywell Aerospace. He has been involved in designing hardware and software solutions for the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force.
