Brann Dailor
Brann Dailor is the drummer for metal band Mastodon, widely considered nowadays one of the best metal bands on earth. His drumming is influenced by the progressive-rock of the seventies ad has a very tasty jazzy flavor, it's rich of improvising and very rarely shows common rock beats. He stated in more than one occasion that he was a voracious listener of ELP, Genesis, King Crimson and the whole Canterbury prog-rock scene, a love that he inherited from his parents. He is now considered one of the best drummers in heavy music and, due to the increasing success of his band, was offered to perform at the annual Modern Drummer Festival (2006).
