Brett Forbes has been passionate about media, art, and design ever since he can remember.Born and raised in Los Angeles, Brett pursued his creative aims right after graduating from Loyola Marymount University.Throughout high school and college, Brett was busy working in the commercial photography industry for world renown photographers such as Peggy Sirota and Herb Ritts, but his true passion was film production, and he didn't take long before he had the opportunity to hit the mark in the industry.Teaming up with partner Patrick Rizzotti to launch Fortress Features, Brett worked hard to develop a new model to raise money for the production and development of feature films, using his resourcefulness, dedication, and knowledge of the industry in order to start producing exciting projects with a fresh approach, far from the shackles and difficulties of traditional studio financing.For Brett, freedom was and still is the key. With more freedom, creative talent has more room to grow and benefit from mutual accomplishment. These concepts are at the basis of his approach to a successful production and development company.The ultimate goal for Brett? To create lasting, influential and meaningful movies that people will talk about 40 years from now.
