A specialist in the emerging world of virtual production & interactive storytelling, Brian bridges the technical and creative elements through a diverse background in film production and real-time game engine development. He served as the Lead VR/AR Experience Producer at the Technicolor Experience Center, creating experiences that pushed the limits of Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality. His projects have showcased at the World Economic Forum, Sundance New Frontiers, SXSW, the Cannes Lions New Directors' Showcase, Venice Biennale Film Festival, the New York Television Festival, Screamfest and more. Wonder Buffalo: The VR Experience (2017) was a finalist in the Television Academy's 2017 Primetime Emmy Awards juried category for Outstanding Innovation In Interactive Programming.Brian received his M.F.A. in Film Production from USC's School of Cinematic Arts, prior to which he attended the University of California, Los Angeles as a Regents Scholar and received his B.A. in English Literature and Creative Writing. He co-founded Shatterproof Films with director John Berardo and co-wrote and produced Initiation (2020), which is their debut feature. The company works closely with the USC Media Institute for Social Change and the USC Entertainment Technology Center.
