Canadian born, Bruce was in the Royal Marines for 5 years before embarking on a career as an actor. When asked by his CO why he wanted to leave the Royal Marines. His reply was swift. "I've been acting the clown for the last 5 years sir. I thought I'd try and make some money from it." His CO could only agree. Bruce has played a wide range of roles in theatre, film and TV.
