Carlos Antonio Amselle was born in Washington DC to a Nicaraguan mother and a French father. He attended the University of Maryland initially in hopes of becoming an attorney, but changed his major to acting. He began his career locally appearing in theatre, film and television shows before relocating to New York. After a 3 year stint there, he settled in London where he resided for 2 years before hitting Hollywood in 2000. His fluency in 4 languages has made it feasible for him to work on both coasts and both sides of the Atlantic and achieve successful voice over employment. He holds both US and French citizenship.
