Cavan Clerkin is a professional actor and filmmaker, as an actor he is known for playing: Father Pyrlig in BBC / Netflix series, The Last Kingdom, Vincent Mann in Morgana Robinson's The Agency and Karl in BAFTA nominated comedy Pulling. He has appeared in a wide range of British TV and Film including: The Trials of Jimmy Rose, Babylon, The Inbetweeners, The IT Crowd, Dead Set, He Kills Coppers and Pierrepoint. Cavan's TV writing credits include Smack the Pony, Things to do in Hoxton when You're Dead and Los Dos Bros, which he co created and won a Silver Montreal award for best Sitcom. Cavan has produced and directed numerous short films and is founder of Sunday Film Club, a collective of professional filmmakers. He received a 1st class honours degree in digital film production at Ravensbourne University and produced his first feature film Nice Guy, a gritty and uncompromising crime drama which he wrote, starred in and edited.
