C.D. Payne is an absurdist fiction author best known for his series of "Youth in Revolt" novels which revolve around teenage horndog Nick Twisp. His novel "Frisco Pigeon Mambo" was once in development as an animated film by the Farrelly brothers called "Party Animals". His other novels include "Civic Beauties" (1999) and "Invisibly Yours" (2010). Neither of these has been adapted for film.
