Celestino Cornielle, will have his big screen debut April 14 2017 with the premier of the highly anticipated, The FATE OF THE FURIOS. Being cast in the coveted role of Raldo, in the 8th installment of the mega-franchise, is very serendipitous for Cornielle, because it was a failed audition for Fast & Furious 2 that motivated him to seriously pursue acting.After studying method acting with various teachers, Cornielle ultimately believes that life itself is the greatest teacher of all. He believes that anything that broadens your human experience will broaden your artistic skills and that living truthfully in the moment is simply the practice of attention and mindfulness.Almost prophetic of being cast in Fast & Furious 8, he portrayed street racing under cover cop, Miguel Ortiz, on Rizzoli & Isles. Some of Cornielle's other notable TV appearances have been as Marine Master Sergeant Shawn Lewis in NCIS: Los Angeles and Tendo Guinta, a futuristic gang boss, in the Minority Report TV series. Cornielle has also enjoyed a recurring role as Miguel Moreno, an ex-cop turned mob henchman, in the daytime powerhouse Day's of Our Lives. In the wildly successful Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 video game franchise he played navy seal, Javier Salazar.A native of the Dominican Republic, Celestino Cornielle is the youngest of six children. In search of opportunities his family immigrated to the United States (New York) when he was five years old. Later they relocated to Miami, where he began his acting career with the independent film Carlita's Secret, starring Eva Longoria.Currently, Cornielle resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two pitbull rescues, a breed for which he advocates. On his personal time, Cornielle is a vintage shopping urban shaman with a love for antique motorcycles and cars. Additionally, Cornielle can be seen playing Cristian Ortiz in the upcoming two-part season finale of TNT's Major Crimes.
