Charles Baird is an Alaska based film director and producer. He began making short animations in 2006 and developed an animated series for YouTube along with several live action series online.In 2010, he wrote and executive produced his first feature film titled Coldwood which follows a team of ghost hunters in Alaska.He started a CK Alaska Photography in 2010 and has filmed a number of performers including Kenny G, Nicholas Cage, Vanessa Hudgens, Dermot Mulroney, and Jon Voight.In 2012, he began filming a new television series titled Alaskan Pioneer. Baird serves as creator, producer and host of the series about Alaskan pioneers and homesteaders by reliving the experience of the old pioneers. In June, 2012, Baird was dropped off on the remote LaTouche Island in Alaska's Prince William Sound to build a cabin, farm, raise animals, hunt and fish while filming the experience in isolation for a full year.
