Chris Leaney was born in Sydney, Australia. He got his start on stage at the age of 10 but took a hiatus to learn more about life. He studied acting when he got out of school and landed his first job as 'Ross' one of the four male leads on award winning sitcom Stupid Stupid Man (2006), whilst graduating. Since then he has worked all over the world filming commercials, shorts and features most notably playing opposite Sharlto Copley in Disney's fairy tale hit 'Maleficent' (2014) with Angelina Jolie. Short film 'The Call' (2016) saw Chris as the lead and took him to Cannes and the Moscow International Film Festival.
