Born in New Zealand, Christopher appeared in teen television dramas before becoming a popular stage actor in Australia, appearing in numerous productions, including roles opposite Hugh Jackman and Barry Humphries returning to the screen more predominantly in 2008 in the popular TV sitcom 'Stupid Stupid Man' and the Rose d'or winning film The Eternity Man'. He now resides in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
