Clifford Wood was born in the small town of Leath, Scotland. Traveling to New Zealand at 5 years, he happily lived with 5 siblings in Urban Auckland until 18, where his pursuit of his love of acting took him to the west coast of the South Island, where he met Susan, whom are still married to this day. They moved to Australia in 1983, had a daughter, Bethany Wood, and returned to the west coast of New Zealand in 1995. They moved to Palmerston North in 1999, where they proceeded to have a son called Elliot Wood. They are still residing there today. Clifford has retired from acting at this current stage.
