Colin Costello is a biracial Midwest-Emmy nominated WGA East Writer/Director living in LA. His features include the Star Wars-inspired family film The Stream (2013) starring Rainn Wilson and Alternate Universe with Steve Guttenberg (2017). Colin was nominated for a Midwest Emmy in 2015 for his work on the PBSKidsI series Moochie Kalala Detectives Club.Colin writes superhero, family, comedy and horror features and edgy hour-long dramedies with a skew toward YA, teens and females. When he's not doing that, Colin teaches screenwriting at UCLA and is the West Coast Editor for Reel 360 an online trade pub that covers advertising, film, TV and entertainment.He has also just finished shooting a comedy web series From Russia with Motive that harkens back to multi-cam sitcoms.
