Courtney Benjamin. (Actor) born April 19, 1982 in Chicago Ill; raised in Pontiac, MI. Ferris State University Graduate (Applied Speech Communications with a minor in Theatre.) He was nominated and won an award in 7th annual 2010 Black Essence Awards. Member of Evangel Christian Churches in Roseville MI. Courtney has had passion for theatre, film and Improv for a few years now; he has shared the stage with LisaRaye and many others. Training with acting coach Rio Scafone, Courtney has Co-Guest starred in ABC TV series Detroit 187, cast in lifetime movie America as Sherriff Romero and featured in numerous commercials worldwide. On top of acting, Courtney is a successful entrepreneur founding Christian label Benjamin Entertainment Group where the labels artists have gained a total of 12 nominations and 2 awards won. Advancing his career he has become executive producer of upcoming film "Prisoners of Secrets".
