Cristy Joy was drawn to performing at a young age. Growing up, she performed in musical theater, chorus, show choir, bands, student films, and independent films. She began in kindergarten, singing in chorus, and performing solos for school assemblies. During third grade, she got the lead role in her first play. Cristy Joy's comedy career began while in college, studying acting & tv/video production. She did an improvised bit with Tom Green, and was in a sketch group that rehearsed weekly & performed locally. Since then, Cristy Joy's done improv with Tim Heidecker, Nick Kroll, and has had numerous performances at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Her comedy dancing can be seen on Comedy Central's "White People Problems" and on FOX's "Weird Loners". Her freestyle dancing is featured prominently in Justin Timberlake's music video for "Can't Stop the Feeling". Cristy Joy's acting is featured prominently in the series premiere of Adult Swim's "Decker: Unclassified". Cristy Joy is studying improv with Miles Stroth at the Pack Theater.
