British writer / actor Dan Wicksman studied at Oxford and at the Northern Film School in Leeds, as well as being mentored by USC screenwriting professors.At film school he met wife and writing partner Nuria Wicksman, and the two have been writing together ever since, with work for film and TV companies in over fifteen countries.Projects include work on five BAFTA-nominated shows and Aardman's BAFTA-winning Timmy Time, commissions for the BBC, Nickelodeon and Disney, and episodes of international teen drama The Tribe, which has gone to 100 territories worldwide and US Syndication.Dan and Nuria's feature credits include work on animated feature The Magic Crystal and live-action feature Midsummer Madness, starring Dominique Pinon (Amelie, Delicatessen) and Maria de Medeiros (Pulp Fiction).They have written feature commissions for companies including Evergreen Productions in the UK, Zeitgeist Films in Denmark, Film Afrika in South Africa and Lolafilms in Spain.
