Born Darren Bailey Stichtenoth (pronounced 'stick-ten-note), Darren dropped his last name during college, once he began working professionally as an actor.Darren holds a BA in Theatre from Miami University, and has advanced TV and Film training from the Tony Award-winning regional theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse In the Park.Having an interest in film acting since he was a child, he joined a campus organization called M.A.F.I.A. (Miami Association of Filmmakers and Independent Artists), created by director/cinematographer A.J. Rickert-Epstein.Darren moved to California in 2008 to pursue a career in acting, both on stage and screen. In early 2010, Darren co-founded Thousand Pounds Action Company with Vonzell Carter and Christopher Clark Cowan. The company garnered viral success through YouTube, particularly with their Street Fighter and Naruto-based videos. Since that time, in addition to acting, Darren has also been working as a stunt performer and stunt coordinator.
