Actor...writer...rocker! David Ayres was born in Ashford, Middlesex, but moved up to West Yorkshire, where he has pretty much stayed ever since. Having first learned his craft on the stage in productions such as Cameron Mackintosh's, Les Miserables and Andrew Lloyd Webber's, Evita, he later branched out to become a professionally trained film and television actor, appearing in numerous films, TV programs, adverts, musicals and plays throughout the years.David is also a director and producer, having written, produced, and starred in the Amazon Prime drama-comedy, Keeping Wood, as well as directing numerous professional stage productions including Amanda Whittington's, The Mighty Atoms, and Greens Days, American Idiot. With a BA (Hons) Degree in English Language and Literature, he is also co-author of a YA dystopian trilogy of novels called Anumal Empire. When he is not acting, writing, or directing, David is also the lead singer in the metal band Black Falcon who signed to Heavy Metal Records in 2021.
