David Preston was born in Santa Monica, California weened on saltwater and surfing, so it's no wonder his first appearance on television was as series regular "Murph the Surf" in The New Gidget for Columbia/Tri Star. Since then, David has made multiple appearances on television and in film including Harold Becker's The Boost, before abruptly walking away from the business.Preston returned to acting in 2011 with a renewed sense of enthusiasm and quickly embarked on a stage career playing a diverse range of classic characters including Carlson in Of Mice and Men, Bob Ewell in To Kill A Mockingbird, Dr. Adam Stanton in All The King's Men and Prince Escalus in Romeo & Juliet. David currently appears as Agent Wilson in Cinetel's Stormageddon on the Syfy channel, as Detective Clawson in the interactive web-series Virtual Morality, and will soon be seen as EMT Warren in the festival favorite thriller, Ambulance, and the upcoming feature Higher Power from producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura.David still surfs every chance he gets, and keeps his head above water - most of the time.
