Deb Katz was born Deborah Verbel in Flanders, NJ. She went to Mount Olive HS and graduated from Rutgers University with a dual degree in English/History. Deb's theatrical training includes a variety of classes at Mason Gross School of the Arts, as well as the School for Film & Television in Manhattan, but she learned the most at The Barrow Group in NYC, working with Lee Brock and Seth Barrish. Most recently, Deb has been studying with Keith Contreras-McDonald and Charlie Schlatter of Triple Threat Academy (NY), as well as Heidi Marshall (NY).
