Born in Upminster, Essex to Yvette (a nurse) and Philip (a civil servant). Moved to West Yorkshire aged 7 years old. Aged 13 she appeared in her first short film as an extra. After high school, she went to college and did a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts. After college she went to Staffordshire University. She graduated in 2010 with BA Hons in Drama, Performance and Theatre Arts. Since graduating from university, Deborah has appeared in several short films and a few television series including Waterloo Road, Coronation Street and Emmerdale. She is also a regular on new online soap opera Platform 2C. She regularly works in the theatre, both on stage and behind the scenes. She has also lent her voice to radio. Deborah is also a singer and received a merit in her Grade 6 musical theatre singing exam.
