Derek James Trapp was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada on December 30th, 1992. He spent a lot of his childhood skateboarding and starting working out lots in his teen years. He graduated high school with a dual diploma in Carpentry and went on after school to do drywall and construction work.After just a short while working he realized that he wasn't passionate about trades so he got involved with business and did lots of traveling and public/motivational speaking. While being self employed doing business he really starting taking the gym seriously and got multiple fitness sponsorships and did fitness coaching on the side. One day he got a message to work with Keanu Reeves on a new movie in his hometown city and he went to set and after working on a film set for 4 days at multiple locations he loved seeing how movies were made and everything about it. He fell in love with it all and knew he wanted to pursue acting from that moment on.He then used his 6 years of public speaking experience and put all of his effort into taking acting/audition classes, getting any work he could, gaining experience, going to lots of auditions and is working hard daily trying to further his career. He now has a talent agent named Blair, that he works closely with on a daily basis and Derek Is excited for what his future holds!
