Desi is an NYC-based comedian, actor, and writer. She performs sketch comedy on Maude Night at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Chelsea with her Maude team, Choir. She also does solo character shows and improv comedy shows with her indie teams (Beef Child and Miles From Pete) at UCB, Reckless, The Annoyance, The PIT Loft, and more. She has a BA in Drama from Davidson College, and extensive training in Commedia Dell'Arte - considered by many to be the fountainhead of improv/sketch comedy - from The Accademia Dell'Arte in Tuscany. She made her Off-Broadway debut in a musical adaptation of Molière's "Scapin" at Theatre Row.
