Desiree' is a model, actress, filmmaker, and creator of the #noBODYbutmine Campaign. As a plus model, female filmmaker, and Native American woman she is among one of the smallest minorities in the world. After encountering obstacle after obstacle in many areas of modeling and entertainment industries because of her size and race she knew there were many things that needed to change. Coupled with her own journey of weight gain due to an autoimmune disease she decided it was time to take action and make a change for herself and all women facing discrimination and body issues. Diversity in size, age, and race in the film and fashion industries are paramount in the way women all over the world perceive themselves.
