Don Tracy
Writer Don Tracy was born in New Britain, CT, in 1905. After graduating college he worked for several local newspapers as a reporter, and in 1928 he moved to New York City and got a job as editor of Radio News. In 1934 he published his first novel, "All Sold!", and shortly after that he published his second novel, "Flash". He taught courses at New York's Syracuse University from 1955-60 and wrote a series of well-received historical novels, but concentrated mainly on crime novels. He died of cancer in Florida in 1976.
