Eleanor (Ella) Claire Bennett was born in Mobile, AL to Michael and Mindi Bennett. She moved to Hattiesburg, MS in 2011. She made her debut as a performer on the stage as a munchkin and a jitterbug in Hattiesburg Civic Light Opera's The Wizard of Oz in late 2016 and was bitten by the acting/performing bug fast and hard! Ella began studying acting and improv with Tammy Nichols at That's a Wrap TV and Film Studio and quickly booked a supporting role in the award-winning short film Chains of Freedom followed by the role of Esme Mercer in the much-anticipated film version of Tawni O'Dell's riveting novel Back Roads, directed by Alex Pettyfer. Ella's favorite part of her acting career so far has been getting to meet and become friends with such a wide variety of amazing and interesting people and getting to "become someone new" with each new role. When she is not performing, Ella considers herself "practically a mermaid" for all the time she spends swimming. She also loves traveling and exploring new cities, hanging out at the beach with her cousins, and building elaborate constructions with blocks, lincoln logs, tinker toys and legos. Ella also loves reading things like The Chronicles of Narnia and The Little House on the Prairie book series as well as anything and everything by Roald Dahl!
