Emma Marianne Johannesson was born in Lund, Sweden on January 23 1992. She started out taking drama classes at the age of 8 and continued to do so until she was 16. Throughout this time Emma also auditioned for and was cast as the lead in school musicals between the ages of 13 - 15.After finishing school at 19 in her hometown Växjö (also the home town of the internationally recognized band The Ark, winner of the Olympic games Carolina Kluft and singer Charlotte Perelli), Emma moved to Stockholm and shortly after that relocated to Copenhagen, Denmark.When being accepted to acting school in Stockholm at the age of 21, Emma moved back to her home country to complete two years of acting school.
