Biography
[John] Cleese was one of my reference points. His Basil Fawlty is a perfect study in frustration. It's funny to see someone boil over but you have to build up to it, if you know what I mean. For the story we needed, Rabbit deserves his frustration. He pontificates. He comes up with plans. He orders everybody around. And then of course it all goes haywire.

[on animating a new Winnie-the-Pooh version: 2011] Rabbit thinks he's the smartest one in the room, except when Owl is there, thinking he's the smartest one on the room. Neither of them is of course. In any event, Rabbit always likes to be in control and when his plans don't work out he gets frustrated and goes a little crazy.
